Location

Via the Skye Bridge

From the bridge, follow the A87 to Portree. Before entering, the town look for the petrol station on the right hand side of the road. Continue for about half a mile along Viewfield Road (the road you have come in on) and Seafield Place is a small named turning (going down toward the water) on the right hand side of the road opposite the High School and before the main Dunvegan turning.

Journey time approx 45 -60 minutes

Via the Armadale Ferry

Travel towards Broadford on the A851 (approx 15 miles). At Broadford, turn left towards Portree on the A87 then proceed as above.

Via Uig Ferry

Travel to Portree along the A87. On entering the town you come to a roundabout (Co-op on the left hand side) Go straight across the roundabout and follow road to the junction. Turn right (A87 signposted for Broadford and Kyleakin) Seafield place is the very first turning on the left hand side almost opposite the entrance to the High School.

Journey time 20 – 30 minutes

Arrival by Bus

Buses arrive into Portree in the town square. Taxis are available from the rank should you wish to use them.

If you want to walk, head across the square to the Granary café and Bakery. Turn left to the corner of the road where the Clydesdale bank is and turn right. Cross over the road so that your walking on the left hand side. Follow the road over the bridge – past the Dunvegan turning and up the incline. Seafield place if the first turning you come to on the left hand side opposite the High School gates. Meadowbank House is signposted at the entrance.
